Aqueous Guard® Hydro Coat+ is a coating solution that protects smooth, non-absorbent surfaces against UV, exhaust staining, acid rain & birdlime. Hydro Coat+ forms a permanent barrier layer that bonds chemically with the substrate curing at room temperature and atmospheric humidity.

The surface protected with Hydro Coat+ can be cleaned repeatedly without degrading the coating.

Hydro Coat+ is suitable for polished, nonabsorbent surfaces such as two-component paints & plastics.

Appearance: Clear / colorless liquid | Binder base: organic silane/ SiO2 | Solvent base: low VOC | Thickness cured: ~1.5-2.5um nominal (+/- 4um) | UV: Stable

APPLICATION

Application is by hand using a wipe on wipe off method. This product is not suitable for spray application. The application can take place with no specific tenting required. Application training is available to ensure correct application of Hydro Coat+.

Using Aqueous Guard® increases the gloss and creates a slick, smooth surface that's easy to maintain!

ADDITIONAL INFO

REMOVAL

Hydro Coat+ can be removed simply using mechanical buffing aids and the same polishing compounds used to prepare the paintwork prior to the application of Hydro Coat+.

This means the Hydro Coat+ can be removed without sanding, extending the life of the paint ready for re-coat, making repairs simple.
