Aqueous Guard® Metal Coat is a coating solution that protects most types of metal against brake dust, road grime, acid rain, oxidation & pitting. Metal Coat forms a permanent barrier layer that bonds chemically with the substrate, curing at room temperature and atmospheric humidity.

The surface protected with Metal Coat can be cleaned repeatedly without degrading the coating.

Appearance: Clear / colorless liquid | Binder base:  organic silane/ SiO2 | Thickness cured: ~3.0-5.0um nominal (+/- 4um) | UV: Stable | Solvent Base: low VOC

APPLICATION

Application is by hand using a wipe on wipe off method or via roll & tip method again by hand. This product is not suitable for spray application. The application can take place with no specific tenting required. Application training is available to ensure correct application of Aqueous Guard® Metal Coat.

With Aqueous Guard® Automotive the metal remains as new even against harsh brake dust & road grime!

ADDITIONAL INFO

REMOVAL

Metal Coat can be removed simply, using mechanical buffing aids and the same polishing compound used to prepare the Metal prior to the application of Metal Coat. This means the Metal Coat can be removed without sanding, maintaining the original condition and appearance of the metal.
